If you're a Colorado nonprofit with 501(c)(3) status and you serve financially disadvantaged young adults ages 17 to 19, you can apply to partner with BPI. Start with a Letter of Interest (LOI) that shares your mission, your programs, and how your work aligns with our goal of empowering futures and transforming lives. Grant applications open in April and September, giving you two chances each year to connect with us.

Who is eligible for the BPI Scholars Program?

You may qualify for the BPI Scholars Program if you are a financially disadvantaged young adult ages 17 to 19, are graduating high school or have recently graduated, and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. You also need to enroll full-time at a Colorado community or technical college, with at least 12 credit hours, and pursue a certificate or associate degree. This program is built to help you overcome barriers and move toward your career goals.

At BPI, 94 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to our Scholarship and Grants Programs, with just 6% going to administrative costs. We also earned a Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid for two consecutive years. When you give, you help us make every dollar count for Colorado youth.
