MORE WAYS TO GIVE

There are many ways to make a difference

DAFs are like your own private foundation without the administrative overhead — one of the simplest ways to give real estate, stocks, mutual funds, or commodities, with an immediate tax deduction at full market value.

WHY A DAF?

Flexible, tax-efficient giving

Receive an immediate tax deduction at market value when you contribute assets.

Decide later when to distribute grants — to BPI or any other organization.

Give stocks, real estate, mutual funds, or commodities with ease.

PLANNED GIVING

If you're 70½ or older, donate up to $105,000 per year directly from your IRA to BPI — excluded from your taxable income.

01  Contact your IRA administrator and instruct them to transfer funds to BPI.
02  Ask them to include your name and address so we can credit your gift.
03  Mail check to:

Key rules to know

Must be 70½ or older at time of gifting.

Up to
$105,000 per calendar year, completed by December 31.

Administrator must send funds
directly to BPI — withdrawn funds don't qualify.

QCDs count toward your
required minimum distribution.

Donate your Colorado state tax refund directly to BPI at no extra cost. When filing your Colorado Individual Income Tax Return, enter our ID on the Voluntary Contributions Schedule (Form 0104CH).
